On September 21st, German power metal heroes Helloween and Gamma Ray made a stop on the “Hellish Rock Tour” at B.B. King’s in NYC and played to a packed house. This tour has been on the road for about a year now and is surely a special treat for not only fans of the genre but really anyone who appreciates heavy metal music. Especially the classics.
Gamma Ray are out supporting their latest release “Land of the Free Pt.2” and played the following setlist:

Gamma Ray will be releasing their long awaited concert DVD "Hell Yeah! The Awesome Foursome (And The Finnish Keyboarder Who Didn't Want To Wear His Donald Duck Costume) Live in Montreal", on October 27 in Europe and November 4 in the U.S. via SPV. The set will feature a multi-camera recording of the band's May 6, 2006 show at Medley in Montreal, Quebec, several "road movies," promotional clips, and footage from the group's January 2008 concert in Barcelona, Spain.
Helloween are also out supporting a new album, entitled “Gambling With The Devil”, and as a special bonus for fans throughout this tour every night have brought out Helloween’s original guitarist Kai Hansen with tonight fellow Gamma Ray mate bassist Dirk, to join them for encores “I Want Out” and “Future World”.
