Mayhem

Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem kicked off their U.S. headlining tour at Irving Plaza in New York City bearing horrific gifts that included inverted crosses, blasphemous lyrics, an alter of sorts, and enough meat on stage to make Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) proud (just see my pictures).

The tour, titled Blackenedfest, also features Swedish black metallers Marduk (who were absent from the New York show apparently because there were issues at the airport), along with Cephalic Carnage, Cattle Decapitation and Withered.
