Doro – All We Are – The Fight

Label: Locomotive Records
Format: CD
Released: 2007
Reviewed By: Rich Catino

“All We Are – The Fight” E.p. features ten goodies for Doro fans. A remixed remastered version of the Metal Goddess’ classic anthem from her former band Warlock with accompanying live video clip that includes footage from various European festivals and the many enthusiastic die hard fans. The remaining audio tracks are unreleased material to the States like rocker 'Thunderspell', a somber ballad 'Everything’s Lost', and a solid faithful rendition of Led Zepplin’s 'Babe I’m Gonna Leave You'.

Other video clips include promo videos for the excellent ballad 'Above the Ashes' where you can see how much Doro is adorned by her fans and like wise with the title track from her last full length release “Warrior Soul” including footage from the film Anuk: The Path of the Warrior in which she makes an appearance. 'You’re My Family' is a live clip from what looks like the Bang Your Head festival. 'On My Own' (an audio and video track) is a duet with Marc Storace from Krokus which ironically does have a Krokus type riff/arrangement with a radio ready chorus.

I know most don’t like E.p.s as they many times contain either too little or just rubbish. But this one is worth it being half unreleased audio half video material. Don’t you think?
