Ever wonder what became of Justin Hawkins, the helium sucking falsetto frontman of short-lived UK sensation The Darkness? Apparently he's giving lessons to (or moonlighting as part of) this long running German power metal outfit. Think Hawkins fronting early Sonata Arctica. Talk about dog-whistle hearing! Mix in an infectious, Dragonforce pomp (as on the title cut) and it's a high-energy workout, start to finish. OK, 'Last Man On Early' begins with an orchestral-turned-synthesizer construct and 'Fass Mach An' is sung in the mother tongue, but still bouncy rhythms abound. Undoubtedly a bit too much reliance on synths for some tastes, the best moments are balls out, like 'Sarah Wanna Die' and 'Underworld'.

To celebrate their two-decade career, the digi-pak will include a pair of bonus tracks, including '20 Years Anniversary Song', which features guest vocal spots from a veritable who's who of Deutsch rock/metal: Andi Deris (Helloween), Schmier (Destruction), Doro Pesch, Claus Lessmann (Bonfire), David Readman (Pink Cream 69) and Walter Pietsch (ex-Axxis).
