Ridiculous name, and I don’t know about a tsunami of blood, but certainly of riffs, right from jump, with “Castle Of Skulls,” complete with brief breakdown. This is thrash, by way of Oslo, with the final pair (“Eceladus Rising” and “One Step Closer To The Grave”) each clocking in, in excess of ten minutes! The vocals are more modern, basically black metal (no surprise, given their locale), but the spirited runs are a delight. “Personal Exorcism” even sports a subtle section within its 8:23 length, while the later half of the 12:30 “Eceladus Rising” is essentially a Maiden inspired twin-guitar instrumental, with ride cymbal accents.
