White Lion – Bang Your Head Festival 2005

White Lion left their mark in the late 80's with two very successful albums including “Big Game’ and the million selling “Pride” which spawned the MTV/radio hits 'Wait' and ‘When The Children Cry'. Unfortunately, with the change in popular hard rock music (the dreadful grunge and alternative trends), like many of their peers they disbanded in 1991.

Lead singer Mike Tramp continued making music with a new band called Freak of Nature, releasing a couple solo albums, and it wasn't until 2005 when Tramp decided to reform the pride (unfortunately without guitarist Vito Bratta’s participation) to carry the White Lion flag again on a European tour that culminated in a successful appearance at the Bang Your Head Festival in Balingen, Germany.

Mike’s band play the Lion material well with guitarist Jamie Law very respectful to the original recordings and he really makes an effort to add in Vito’s flair and style. “Bang Your Head Festival 2005” includes the full show (half of the crowd looks interested singing along with many appearing a bit uninterested by the band’s reemergence) featuring all the major hits Lion is well known for including 'Broken Heart', 'Wait', ‘Little Fighter’, and 'Radar Love'.

The DVD includes also an interview with Mike Tramp, a slide show, two Easter eggs and a live performance of' Lights And Thunder' from the USA tour.
