‘Piggy World’ is a personal rant to someone whose affronted McShane and/or the band ("You know who you are!"), delivered in a Blondie ‘Rapture’ meets rock setting. ‘One More Night’ begins with acoustic guitar and male vocal. The dual voice ‘Meltdown’ is a gritty, down tuned depressive ride, while the progressive ‘Night Flier’ is completely voiceless. In fact it sort of reminds one of the Night Flight theme, for those that remember the USA cable network’s 80s late-night program. Along with the Charly Sahona (of Venturia) solo disc, a bit of a departure for Lion Music, venturing into more mainstream (less overtly metal at least) territory.
