Despite the Kansas reference, Ulterium make allusions to Whitesnake, Gotthard and similar melodic metal outfits. The label behind the excellent Sinbreed release bring us this multi-national Christian collaboration between current/ex-members of bands like Narnia, Veni Domine and Saviour Machine, produced by people who’ve worked with big hitters like Dio, Candlemass and Jeff Scott Soto offshoots like W.E.T. and Talisman.

Given Christian Liljegren’s output fronting the CS Lewis inspired Swedes, as well as his solo efforts, it’s little wonder that Audivision rock for The Rock. After a ‘Mr. Roboto’ electro-modulated titular phrasing, ‘Keep The Fire Burning’ sees Liljegren attempt to shatter glass, ala the old Jim (‘now I’m Mr. Lita Ford’) Gillette, of Nitro. Wow! Lyrically, the pro-God stance is fairly veiled, "We’re not alone. We’re marching on deceiving the liar," is an example of how overt it gets.
