Man, Udo (Dirkschneider, former Accept singer) must be feelin the heat after his former bandmates released "Blood Of The Nations" in 2010. Regardless, in Accept’s thirteen year absence, Udo carried on with his band (and with a relatively stable lineup since 1999’s "Holy"), manufacturing music naturally in the spirit of Accept. "Timebomb", "Solid", "Holy", and "Thunderball" are good, and what I think is his best, "Mastercutor".

"Rev-Raptor" is better than 09’s "Dominator", title track, single/video ‘Leatherhead’, ‘Renegade’, and ‘Terrorvision’ are all solid and makes one wonder "how cool would these have been for Accept with Wolf Hoffman on these riffs and leads?" ‘I Give As Good As I Get’ slows things down and works with a ballady melody, ‘Dr. Death’ gets the point across with those grinding riffs and leads, and anthemic ‘Rock n Roll Soldiers’ is created by the contrasting subtle verses and upbeat chorus. Aside from ‘Fairy Tales Of Victory’ (which brought me back to Accept’s "Restless And Wild"), I think the first half of the album is better than the last four or five tunes.
With great music coming from Udo, and now Accept, it’s too bad they won’t join forces again as Accept because they would be unstoppable.
