Columbia is not really the metal capital of the world, but that doesn’t mean the ‘right’ CDs don’t filter their way into the South American country. Sounding a bit like Rage’s Peavy Wagner (‘Core Domain’), the singer has a good command of English, in which all the lyrics are delivered. Apparently the compilation of several demos over the course of many years, the style is a mix of European, double bass driven power metal (‘War Of The Monsters’/’Lab From Hell’) and its heavier, riff oriented American cousin (label references Iced Earth, which at times seems appropriate: see ‘The Human Torch’/title cut/’Units Of Pain’).

Not a bad introduction to the outside world, but a stronger sense of melody is warranted to take Thunderblast higher.
