Guitarist Stacey Murray and newcomer drummer Jason Darnell rip thru the songs with a frenetic Slayer like pacing. There's no room for any of that Emo/Nu Metal bullshit here. Their raw meat and potatoes approach to the songs is definitely refreshing island amongst a sea of trendy metallic turds which tend to rule the airwaves in today’s market.
A short yet solid offering to the metal gods, Kaos delivers the goods in the classic way of Exodus/Sepultura in brutality and speed without sounding dated. From the first cut ‘United We Kill’, to the last a cover of legendary Bay Area Thrashmeisters Vio- Lence's ‘Kill On Command' this album will most definitely have you screaming bloody murder for more.
