In "A New World", sixth album from Swedish symphonic power metal band ReinXeed, the band continues in the same vein as previous albums. "The Journey Home" is a happy, anthemic song with a likeable melody. Throughout the album, Tommy's vocals are good and there is a nice guitar solo here and there. However, the songs for the most part have the sound of the overused power metal formula, resulting in almost all songs blending together because they sound so much alike. There are a few tracks different enough to notice, namely "Into The Darkness", "Curse and Damnation", and Guitar Hero, but if you're looking for new power metal, I recommend looking elsewhere for more inspired and varied music.
