Totally unfamiliar with their music, was really impressed with this Cincy based, husband & wife led quartet, when they opened for Pentagram, last Fall. Since then have also added female keyboard player. Like a leftover from the late 60s/early Seventies, this is hook laden, truly guitar driven (verging on stoner) hard rock. Long on jamming and bad ass solos. Drum and bass heavy bottom end introduce ‘Social Phobia’: hints of vintage Sabbath, with female vocals. Easily one of the finest moments of the ten choices.

The initial half of a droning ‘Misery Keeper’ suddenly springs to life, with the brief infusion of keyboards and some Angus Young inspired guitar. ‘Ghost Of Me’ pulls out all the stops, from swirl of feedback inducing guitars and plenty of ride cymbal. Onstage, the songs take on an added dimension.
