I knew this review would be easy. When I first heard the single 'Rock n Roll Is Here to Stay' from the previous album "Rock The Highway" I went down the rabbit hole, to India. Yup, that's right GATC have officially put the country on the rock map. Another great hard rock metal band carrying on the sounds from the 80s, this is the third album, first on a major label. Amongst their peers (Crazy Lixx, Eclipse, H.E.A.T., Reckless Love, etc) they sound more closely to Crashdiet or Bloody Heels.

It's lead singer/rhythm guitarist Girish Pradhan's voice alone that sets them apart, he's got that Tom Kiefer (Cinderella) Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) thing going on, and the aggressive side of Sebastian Bach. Hopefully you heard the single for 'Hail To The Heroes' because its a perfect representation of what the music is about. Big riffs, solos with purpose, a balance between smooth melodic and grit in the vocal, and the all important chorus with those backing vocals too we all love.
'Primeval Desire' (dig that clanky bass part) and 'Children Of The Night' jumps out to the listener, love the guitars, tons of crunch and balls, great metal edge. And more divebombs, please. A mother-F bomb and attitude on 'I'm Not The Devil'. By track four 'Love's Damnation' and the riff its evident these guys are not trying to copy the bands from the 80s, just using those ingredients. Melodic AOR rock with the keyboards, clean guitar parts in 'Lover's Train', Girish briefly really gentle for the verses not pushing his voice. Pradhan also showing his moody Zepplin, Badlands side for the reserved 'Shaman's of Time', and 'The Heaven's Crying'. Most metal riffing on closer Rock N' Roll Fever' featuring Chris Adler (Lamb of God) and Rowan Robertson (ex Dio).
